FAQs
Do you take insurance?
1
We are an out-of-network private practice and do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to provide highly individualized, relationship-based care without restrictions on session length, frequency, or treatment approach.

Can I get reimbursed?
2
Many families receive partial reimbursement for speech therapy services. We provide a detailed superbill each month that you can submit to your insurance company. We’re happy to guide you through questions to ask your provider so you understand your out-of-network benefits.
How long will my child need therapy?
3
Therapy length varies depending on your child’s goals, diagnosis, consistency of attendance, and carryover at home. Some children benefit from short-term, targeted support, while others need longer-term intervention. After your initial session, we’ll provide thoughtful recommendations and continue to reassess progress together.
What makes you different from an insurance-based provider?
4
Because we’re a private-pay practice, we are not limited by insurance mandates, diagnosis requirements, or preset visit caps. We prioritize clinical expertise, collaboration with families, and therapy that translates into real-life success—not just checking boxes for coverage. Our focus is meaningful progress and strong relationships. Also, with our model we are able to provide longer treatment sessions, we typically see clients for 60 minutes vs the 30 minutes sessions you would receive in an insurance-based practice.
What ages do you serve?
5
We work with toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, teens, and adults. Our team spans the full scope of speech-language pathology, allowing us to support articulation, language, literacy, executive functioning, social communication, feeding, voice, accent modification, and more.
What happens during the first session?
6
The initial session includes a comprehensive evaluation or detailed therapeutic analysis, discussion of concerns and goals, and time to build rapport. We believe connection comes first. Afterward, we provide clear recommendations and a plan tailored specifically to you or your child. We create the plan for treatment WITH you, not for you.
How often are sessions scheduled?
7
Most clients attend once per week for 60 minutes to allow for deeper work, carryover, and relationship-building. However, frequency may vary based on individual needs.
Are parents involved in therapy?
8
YES! Parent and family/caregiver involvement is a cornerstone of our practice. We know that therapy is most effective when families feel informed, supported, and empowered to carry strategies into everyday life.
Do you offer group therapy?
9
Yes! We offer specialized small groups throughout the year, including social communication and executive functioning groups, as well as targeted articulation groups. Groups are intentionally small to ensure each participant receives individualized attention.
Where are you located?
10
We are based in West Chester, PA, and Media, PA. Our spaces are designed to feel welcoming, engaging, and supportive for clients of all ages. We serve Chester County and Delaware County.
